Founder, President, CEO, CFI, CFCI
With 20 years retail Loss Prevention experience including executive positions at Lord & Taylor, Bed Bath & Beyond, and Limited Brands. Stuart leads the Loss Prevention Solutions field. In 1997, Stuart conceptualized and created The Zellman Group, seizing the opportunity to offer a quality and innovative alternative loss prevention solution to all retailers and food service companies, no matter the volume. Among Stuart’s personal assets is the ability to develop long-lasting partnerships with clients as well as, loss prevention industry leaders. He is also an expert in interviewing techniques developed through his extensive training with Wicklander-Zulawski & Associates, Inc., and The Laboratory for Scientific Interrogation and a deep understanding of loss prevention best practices in both large and small companies. An experienced public speaker, Stuart continues to share his insight through participation in a number of trade association events including, but not limited to, those related to the retail, and security arenas.

Michael Ira Asen, Chief Counsel, The Zellman Group, LLC, is an attorney at law, licensed in the States of New York and New Jersey and admitted to practice in the United States Supreme Court, the United States Courts of Appeal For the Second and Third Circuits, the United States District Courts For the Southern District of New York, Eastern District of New York and New Jersey. He has more than 41 years of legal practice. He has an AV Preeminent Peer Review Rating, the highest professional rating available to lawyers by Martindale – Hubbell. He is the only attorney in the civil recovery industry who has an AV Preeminent Peer Review Rating. This accomplishment is based on Mr. Asen’s superior legal knowledge, analytical capabilities, judgment, communication ability and legal experience. He uses his experience and skills to ensure that the recovery process is legal, competent, and courteous and maintains the highest standards in the industry. He has a background in criminal investigations, trials, civil litigation and business development and management.
Vice President of Operations
Lauren has dedicated herself to Loss Prevention and Asset Protection which provides her with a very diverse background. Lauren’s knowledge in Loss Prevention, eCommerce Fraud Management, POS Data Analytics, Retail Operations, Retail Logistics and Safety has made her a leader in the field. Prior to joining The Zellman Group, LLC, Lauren held many field Regional and corporate Director level positions with several high profile big box and department store retailers. Through her experience, she has developed a balanced perspective on Loss Prevention and Asset Protection at an executive level. At The Zellman Group, LLC, Lauren is responsible for executive management of the Recovery Services, Loss Prevention Analytics, eServices, Consulting and Sales Audit Services. She focuses on promoting technology to increase results, reduce tasks and drive ROI. Lauren draws on her specific hands-on experience to guide both the TZG team and TZG clients to ensure they achieve optimum results. Lauren is a graduate of American University in Washington D.C.
CFI, Director of ORC Recovery
Bill Ramos is Director of ORC Recovery at The Zellman Group. He has 30 plus years in the retail Loss Prevention Field, is CFI certified and trained in Interview & Interrogation techniques as well as LSI (Forensic Statement Analysis). He has worked for both U.S. and foreign retail companies, holding positions ranging from Investigator to Vice President of Loss Prevention. Throughout his career, he has been responsible for developing programs and individuals to deter and prevent loss. He has an array of experience in conducting interviews, analyzing data, and identifying areas of opportunity, serving as a leader in educating and training LP and non-LP teams. Bill joined The Zellman Group in 2002 as Regional Loss Prevention Manager; and because of his natural leadership skills and dedication to our partners, he was promoted to Vice President for Loss Prevention and now holds the role of Director of ORC Recovery. He embodies our vision for providing our partners with a proactive solution to protecting their assets. Bill is fluent in both English and Spanish.
Director of Analytics
Linda lives for technology and understanding data. Linda has many years of experience in retail Data Analytics, Loss Prevention, Operations and Human Resources. She has an extensive background in POS exception based reporting (EBR) analytics within the retail, food service and grocery industries. Prior to joining TZG, Linda managed the implementation of EBR applications and Case Management Systems at a fortune 500 retailer and a large grocery chain. Linda’s ability to understand business operational needs and associate those needs with the necessary system data points, allows her to develop the right indicators to identify fraud trends for exception reporting and operational changes. She is innovative and is able to reverse-engineering theft cases post interview and operation situations to improve future data findings and reporting. Linda’s attention to detail and ability to develop programs and individuals is a key driver for the success of our clients. Linda holds an MBA from Centenary College in NJ.
Manager of Operations
Lisa joined The Zellman Group in 2009 on the Operations team supporting the Employment Screening and Audit Services departments. With her dedication to detail and excellence in meeting deadlines, Lisa moved into the Loss Prevention Coordinator position supporting the analytics and investigative teams. During her tenure Lisa progressed to managing specialized solutions for financial audit, sales audit and analytics. With over 10 years of experience and a diverse background in both retail and small business, Lisa’s approach to operations and client support embodies our company mission and values. Lisa holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Management.
